Isn't she gorgeous?
This is my daughter, Andra. Isn't she gorgeous? Yes, alright - everyone under the age of 30 - alright, 40 - is gorgeous. But, Andra has the kind of beauty that surpasses anything that can be photographed. I am lucky to be her mother.
Andra right now is traveling. She is using her talents as a singer to give glory to God as she sings in churches and performs in schools. Little does she know (or does she?) that despite her adolescent protests to the contrary - "I don't want to be a singer!" - I had continually prayed that God would use her vocal talents in His service. He does always answer prayer, doesn't He?
Too, everything has now been worth it - the waiting in the car while she finished up her vocal lessons, the budgeting of monthly tuition payments, enduring her protests, the week-in/ week-out scheduling arrangements, the fuel costs, giving up those other things that had to be sacrificed - yes, there comes A DAY when it all comes together into a wonderful, beautiful God-inspired package. It's the little, everyday, consistent stuff that BECOMES what we BECOME. Does that make sense?
